“Stevie took me from my first lesson to passing my test. Throughout our lessons I really appreciated all the things that Stevie done to make the lessons the best they could be.

Stevie always created a calm and relaxed atmosphere in the car which allowed me to learn without feeling under pressure, Stevie also has lots of experience driving and being a driving instructor and therefore has a great understanding of all the roads allowing myself to pick up on all there nuances and where they can potentially throw up problems.

Due to his experience, Stevie always knew where my driving was at all times knowing when to push me and when to step in to help. Most importantly however is his time keeping, Stevie was always on time for my lessons and was very flexible when I had to juggle lesson times due to outside circumstances. The accumulation of these traits lead me to pass my test first time and has allowed me to be confident in my driving now after my test.

I can’t recommend Stephen highly enough. He’s an instructor you can easily tell has years of experience in his work.

He took me from absolute beginner to test-ready. He’s funny and friendly, and helped me feel at ease each time I stepped into the car. He easily identified what I needed to work on at each stage of my journey and helped me each step of the way. 

He knew when I was ready for my test, eased my anxieties ahead of it, and I passed first time.

I couldn’t recommend Stephen Laidlaw enough. He is an incredibly patient, calm, and supportive driving instructor who instantly makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel.

Stephen has been doing this for years and it really shows — he knows exactly what he’s doing and explains everything clearly and confidently.

Thanks to Stephen, I passed my driving test first time, as did my boyfriend and my best friend. He is such a genuinely kind and reassuring person, and I’m so thankful for all of his help, encouragement, and patience throughout my lessons. If you’re looking for a brilliant instructor, Stephen is the one.

I’d failed my test twice before, but learning with Stephen made a big difference. He’s patient, clear in his teaching, and knows exactly how to prepare you for the test. His approach helped me gain confidence and pass, and I’d happily recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

Stevie is an absolutely brilliant driving instructor. He is extremely patient, calm, and understanding, and always takes the time to explain things clearly no matter how long it takes.

He adapts his teaching to suit strengths and weaknesses but never rushes a pupil this really helped me as of someone who takes longer to understand certain things, which really helped build confidence with driving and helped me pass first time. His support and encouragement made learning to drive an enjoyable and stress-free experience. I would highly recommend Stevie to anyone looking for an instructor or looking to learn to drive.
